With 19 participating countries, close to 65 planes and over 750 missions in a two week timeframe German organized exercise "ELITE" is Europe's largest electronic warfare exercise. Mainly operating out off Bavarian base Lechfeld participants headed west to target the Heuberg range.
The North of Scotland saw the arrival of no less then eight Royal Saudi Air Force Tornado IDS in August 2007. RAF Lossiemouth (Home to the famous Dammbuster squadron) was the perfect place to deploy to with it's nearby Scottish low flying area's and bombing range.

As from 1966 Condor operated six North American F-86 on behalf of the German Luftwaffe, they were replaced in 1974 when the Fiat G.91 arrived as new aerial target tower. The "Zeildarstellungsflotte" operated out off Westerland Sylt until 1976 and then moved to Hohn. We visited Hohn back in 1988.
